I was wondering since google gets more traffic than msn if you pay more per click for the same keyword in MSN?

Depends on keyword, on your site and your ad. You should have 2 identical campaigns on MSN and Google to be able to say that. And their systems are a bit different, so anyways the results will differ.

I think that depends on who is behind both campaigns; if you are doing it by yourown, or if you hire an enterprise for doing it instead of you. It can be for that reason; you can obtain better results by hiring an expert. The difference? prices .

I've been running ads for the last few days for both, I'll share with you what I know. My total costs are about the same. Avg. CPC in AdWords is about %10 less than AdCenter. However, I didn't configure all the keywords and prices the same. But so far, they have been almost the same as far CPC, CTR, Impressions, and Clicks.

AdCenter always seems to estimate my placement higher than AdWords. But, my Adwords CTR is about %10 higher.

One thing to note is that my ACTUAL costs for AdCenter are much less because of Coupons/Promo codes I used. If you factor in those, the actual CPC for me is 1/10th what AdWords is.

I would go with either again. They both work pretty well. Google's site loads better and doesn't glitch out as much. However, Microsoft's keyword estimator is nicer, if it is accurate. There are ups and downs to both, really.

Wouldn't the cost for MSN Adcenter also be a lot less usually because the click volume and traffic is so much less?

I guess the bottom line is to ensure your return-on-investment is within your expectation, whether you are paying more or less per click.

Google is the big dog out there so everyone goes there. Yahoo and Msn are over looked you can find cheaper clicks with msn. Way cheaper and sometimes converts really well. There content match isnt too bad too if you find the right keywords.

MSN seems to cost a bit more and way less volume...Is the volume more quality than google? Some say yes..I can honestly say I have not seen better quality of traffic from MSN..Not really happy with it to be honest

You pay per click, so traffic doesnt matter.
