Do you pay for download mp3 music ?

I would like to know how many of the western country people paying for downloading mp3 in US and Europe.
If they down for free .If they pay for download mp3, where they pay for the mp3 music ?
what about you in your country ?

 

in my country people buy it in cheap bulks like a dollar for a thousand songs already. but me I get mine free as always

From someone working in the music industry, it is stealing to not pay for your music. Just as if you walked into the store and grabbed the CD off the shelf and walked out without paying. There are many artists who really aren't making close to as much money as you think they are and to think you are ripping someone off who you enjoy should make you feel pretty bad.

I used to download them illegally but stopped a few months ago, there isn't a difference between stealing and that

 

I still buy CDs. I like the album art, the physical CD, etc. I guess I'm old fashioned in that sense.

 

Well, first I download the CD... like many people do...
If I like it, I will buy it...

But why would I buy a CD that costs 25€ (40$ or something) with 20 songs, when I only like 1 song and not the other 19...
That's waste of money...

So yeah, sometimes I buy, sometimes not

All from Metallica I have is legal...
DVD's, music, everything

But from other things...not always ... (Evil like I am )

 

if I really like the album or the musik I'll buy a cd but first I'll donwload it to check.

does anybody know if it'S less illegal to download songs via youtube ??? (this question just came to my mind)

 

I think it's all the same mate, via youtube, limewire, kazaa, napster (the old time , rapidshare)

I also buy music from a mp3 selling site in Russia and itunes and I love that

 

I hope most people never pay for downloading mp3 because they can do it for free(Almost everyone know how to do that). But if you sell it in the form of CDs or DVDs people will buy!

 

Well mate, sometimes you may not thing that it costs money, but you must think 'I will support the band'

 

I hate to admit it but I use torrent sites for my mp3 fix.
