Do you park?

Does anyone here park their domains? I do, and I've made some decent cash by doing so. If you aren't sure what parking is, it's basically setting up an ad page on your domain that people go to. They click on ads and you get paid.

I'm currently with Parked, but for beginners I'd recommend NameDrive. What is your favorite parking company?

 

i park my car perfectly everyday as for domain parking, i've used sedo, but i think parking is for lazy people. just create a website and with few work you'll earn much more from adsense per month than from parking.

But for those domainer who own hundreds of domain names, it's difficult

 

I have parked at a number of places but they don't do very well unless they are good keyword .com's from my experience. Bodis was ok but latley they are no better than Sedo & Parked etc... You have to experiment and try a few different places. As mentioned, parking should only be a place to hold them until your site is deveoped which whould be your main priority.

 

parking requires traffic... most domains don't meet that one basic requirement. Often parking traffic names earns more than development especially as you scale.

 

I try to park all domains that I haven't developed yet so that it will earn some cash. I park it with sedo. By the way, who's the best parking company right now?

 

namedrive is my favorite, i get more money from developing rather than parking.

 

I use ParkingPanel as they have paid the highest per click for me. Sedo sucks as they pay very, very low

 

aI just parked for one month and got what only 6 cents from 6 domains .. This is how parking sucks .. And now I have made sites out of them so I do expect to get several dollars daily from them

 

To earn money the domain need to have traffic really I don't like to dot it

Ive got about 6 domains parked at sedo, 2 do ok as they have lots of backlinks that i built up over about 2 years and used to hold sites, but the others dont receive traffic really and need developing, will get to them soon.

 

Care to share what domains they were and how much real traffic they were generating?


Seems most people here think parking sucks and earns no money, I think most of you have no type in traffic and therefore earn no money. I am not sure what it takes for people to understand money doesn't grow on trees with parking. Development is the ONLY option for domains without traffic to earn money.

I never liked parking domains, and I am not parking any of my domains at the moment, however they can bring you some extra cash.

I've got all my parked domains pointing to WhyPark.com.

They do make me money. Not loads, but the service has more than paid for itself.

 

I signed up with Godaddy cash parking a few weeks ago (Nov 14) and so far I have made $3.47c
After I got the cash parking account I went shopping for some expired domains and got a few that still had traffic, (very little)
Among the domains I got were a couple of PR3's and a PR4.... I don't know what to do with them as it seems a bit of a waste to just park them.. But I do not have the time (or skills to quickly) develop them. Any suggestions welcome!
