Hey folks, I just wanted to know does anyone here owns Nintendo Wii? If you own Wii or you've played it before tell us your opinion about it. Is the Wiimote controller that good as they say or not? I know that Wii kinda sucks if you compare it to PS3 or Xbox360, so there's no need to point that out.
I own a WII. My wife enjoys it, i would never be able to get her to play on an xbox or PS3. The controls are pretty good, though, depending on the game sometimes it can be difficult. It's less expensive (both the system and the games) than xbox and PS3, and WIFI is standard with it (Xbox you have to pay an extra 100 for the wifi adapter). My biggest complaint, and really my only complaint is that the games are too childish. There aren't too many games adult males would be too interested in, well, not compared to systems like xbox and ps3 anyways.
I have my own wii, thanks to my former job, and wii fit is the best game ever, I loose weight when playing.
My girlfriend's sister got one, I tried it and I found that it is perfect for kids but not for grown up. It makes me sweating, maybe if you play it too much you can lose weight. Also, sometimes the control is hard.
My sister owns one, and I must say its pretty fun to play, especially during parties or when a bunch of friends come over - provides great entertaintment and the time flows by. Sport games like bowling are especially fun!
I own one and like it, the controls have kinda wore off being new and neat but still make certain games better, just a shame the Wii doesnt have more powertful hardware.
My friend just got one and his impressions are also great. Controls are revolutionary but like someone said here before there aren't many good games for Wii because most of them look really kiddish. PS3 and Xbox 360 are getting their motion sensor controllers soon, so we'll see how will Wii manage to keep up with them.
I used to own a wii, but it got boring as soon as the wii fit fad hit the scene. Gone went the development of any decent games such as super smash brothers brawl, so i felt nintendo let me down and I sold my wii for an xbox 360. I'll admit it was a fun console, but the focus on the title range ended up letting me down
