Do you own a Segway?

Do you own one's. If you do, please share with us the feel using Segway?

 

I have seen these in cities in Asia .....................own one! ............ not a chance ........ safer on 4 wheels

 

what is a Segway?

 

I do not own any scootation device but would love to...segway, scooter, moped, heck even a Rascal

 

would love to have one of those

 

Wouldn't use one even if someone payed me. I look dorky enough without one.

 

The idea behind it to ease transport is not a bad one. Of course this is over short dstances - but imaging the number of people who use cars to go short distances. Would help cut down on pollution etc but I can just imagine a suburb with people using Segways - btw segways can "climb" up stairs as well.

 

In the indianapolis mall, security rides around on them.

Yeah... as it use a battery to run the Segway. Nowaday pollution are getting bad on daily basis. Either the haze or the carbon monoxite are polluted our air.

 

I havent seen that before... wouldnt mind trying to find a video of that. Maybe a different model could or maybe the one pictured above could if the steps were just a couple of CM rise.

There's an off road one that I saw with some bloke going quite fast through the woods.

I havent got one and wouldnt get one.

Actually, I don;t have a Segway but I do have a Duckway.

i rememmber when the inventer stated that it would be the next biggest thing .....sad to say but that was called the PS3 baby ....

 

I dont, and dont think I would ever buy one. I would feel like a lazy POS if I didnt walk or bike to get around.

 

Nope I don't and I've never heard of them before. They look quite interesting though

On the segway site, they have a 4 wheel model there. The centaur or something. That looks pretty sweet!

 

Yup... Centaur model can be used in rural and hill's area. But the price is about the price of small motorbike.
