If you run an active forum on some webmastering related topics like SEO, Web Designing, Web Hosting, Graphics Designing, vBulletin Discussion etc. and which has over 1000+ members than we can help each other. I run a Webmaster Discussion Forum which has over 1100 members and 17000+ posts. I send a newsletter to all the members every month's first week with the happening in forums in the month so in this newsletter I can mention about your site. You can give me description of your forum in about 250 words. In return, you will have to do the same thing for me. This way we can advertise for free in each other forums which will help in getting new members and increasing activity on both the forums. There are other benefits also. There is nothing to loose but only gain. Anybody interested? Did you like the idea? p.s.: I will send the newsletter next week... so let me know asap.

BTW, do you normally send newsletters to your members? When are you planning to send the next newsletter? forumsolutions: Yes, I can consider this. You are in the que. I will get back to you
I have installed a vB hack to send newsletters and there is an option so that a member can unsubscribe the newletters. I also hate spam. You are already a member of WMT so you must be know that I send very few mails to my members
I did get vBulletin set up on my site a while back, but then Uni took over and I didn't have time to get the actual forum boards and customizations up and running. I won't post the link yet, as I'm rather ashamed to say it looks sickeningly bare and un-sophisticated. but now I'm on holiday I plan to spruce it all up and then get onto the whole advertising bandwagon and getting the word out. Initially it was simply meant to be a fun way to chat about Harry Potter with like-minded fans, then when i started my business I was going to set it up to meet with other startups and sole traders to talk shop and trade secrets/tips etc. But now a website design and technology related forum is starting to sound good. I think that it is true that there are a lot of forums on the net that deal with essentially the same topic, but each has its own 'flavour' and atmosphere and that makes each one unique in its own right, and all the better for it. Cheers and take care. Hussein.
