Hi there, If you want your directory to get high PR fast. this is what you should do. This is only a trick I'm about to tell you. Please, if you don't feel comfortable doing this don't. Some of you may know this and some don't. I like to call this a "black hat" directory building. but really you aren't doing anything wrong but some of you might think this isn't the way to go. Okey, this will work for any kind of niche, and "all around" directory's It's simple, you all know of these sites but maybe you just haven't thought about it. reciprocal link exchange. This will work wonders for you directory because on the networks that provide these exchanges everyone is equal. if you just add there link to your site you'll get a link in return. So the idea is to find sites that related to your directory niche and ask for a reciprocal link. Now what you need to do is make a little description about the site your about to ask for a reciprocal link and add the site to a section in your directory that fits. Then tell them where there link is and ask them to give you a link instead. So you see. The link you'll be giving back will actually look like a regular submission and your database will grow lager with every backlink you'll be getting So now your site is getting bigger, your providing your visitors a directory that leads to related sites and every time you submit a new site your getting a backlink instead. Maybe people are already doing this and that's way I see so many high PR directory's in all the signature links here.
