DO NOT turn to the dark side wait, try or switch? I could never switch now since i have so many Canon lenses!!
The camera I want to buy, the 5D Mark II, does HD video... check out these 2 clips (one professionally done, one just some guys kid) http://www.usa.canon.com/dlc/controller?act=GetArticleAct&articleID=2326 http://vimeo.com/2522595
ok, I thought that ^ was impressive but whatever ;-) HERE is my camera body and lens that I recently dropped, thought I broke, but thankfully it was ok! The body is the Canon 40D Key features * 10.1 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor * 6.5 fps continuous shooting, max. burst 75 JPEGs * New AF system with 9 cross-type sensors * DIGIC III processor * 3.0†LCD with Live View mode * EOS Integrated Cleaning System * Clear and bright viewfinder * Customizable Picture Style processing parameters The live view mode is a lifesaver. I did not realize it at the time but I am ever so thankful that it is on this camera. It is ENTIRELY useful for macro work AND makes using my TSE lens quite easy, a lot easier than if you didn't have one! The lens is the 24-105/4L. THANKFULLY it did not bite the dust on a recent drop...onto the carpeted floor but nevertheless not the sounds you want to hear! I of course had to take these pics with my small P&S, Canon Digital Elph (SD1000)
I don't have so high quality camera like you guys but yes i have sony cybershot and i am happy with it guys .
That video left me speechless... Even the clip of that kid is incredible. What are you doing dropping your lenses anway?
