    Hi all,

I'm working on a tool that checks the effectiveness of outsourced link building and I need a few volunteers to let me validate their recent backlinks.

    Does this apply to me?

If you outsource your link building/SEO work, and are sent reports about the backlinks you've gained, you're exactly the type of person that I need to hear from. Although I have tested my tool on small samples, I really need to test it on some real world data.

I would love to process your backlink data, in order to refine the tool and improve the quality of the results. I am offering to do this at no charge, and naturally I will send you the report on your backlinks when it's done. If you feel like sending me your comments and suggestions afterwards, then I would be grateful, but there is no obligation to do so.

    What's in the report?

The report will confirm that your links are present and where they are pointing to. Other details about anchor text and nofollow status are also included. There will be some basic anchor keyword analysis too. This is an area that is still being developed and feedback on what you would like to see, would be great.

    Ok, how can I help?

All I need from you is a plain .txt file (one URL per line) of your most recent backlinks, and the URL of the site that you are building backlinks to. That's it! I will do the rest.

If you'd like to help me out and get your backlinks verified at the same time, please PM me for my email address. Alternatively, upload your .txt file somewhere and PM me the download link. Be sure to include your site URL and the email address you would like me to send the report to.

    Limits

Obviously, I can't do this for everyone. I will continue to take requests until I feel that I have enough data to work with. This will be offered on a first come, first served basis. I will post here when I am no longer accepting requests.

If you have any questions, please post them below and I will do my best to answer them.

    Thank you!
