    Yes, I obey my parents but not all the time. They scold me a lot because I'm always online, sitting in front of computer in home as well as in office lol

    If you are a minor and your parents are supporting you, you do have to follow rules set by the family- unless you find a way to become an emancipated minor and support yourself.

    This is another time in the Bible when God instructs us to obey our parents. Notice that it is plural, saying parents, not just the father or the mother. Whew! What a job! We have to obey not just one parent, but both of them.

    As a parent I have to earn the respect of my children. If they choose not to listen then they loose my respect for them. Respect is a two way street, if you don't want to listen to them let them know why in a respectful manor and they may be impressed! I love when my kids to tell me why I'm wrong in a respectful manor, when they have a valid argument. It shows me that they are maturing, I have 12 and 10 yr olds.

    Respect is the rule, not obey. Like if your parents don't want you in front of the PC, then they should ask you to do something with them.

    I kinda like to take decisions on my own you know.. I`m 19 years-old. You know how it is .. :) Trying to taste the real life.

    Not really, after a few years of hard partying, coming back in the early hours of the morning while stupidly drunk, despite being told not to go out really changed the relationship with my parents.

    That said, at 18 we're now closer than ever, and get on quite well :)

    Every One Must Obey His Parents Bcz They Giv Birth 2 Us,

    Bring Us Up,,,,,nd Make Us A Well Mannered,, Well Civilized,and An Educated Person..

    I do respect my parents. There are times i have done mistake but i usually regret it afterward. It's in the bible to honor our parents for this is the only commandment that has a promise.
