Do you notice A relation in CTR and EPC?

I've noticed when my CTR is very low, my EPC is very high and vice versa.

For instance, I get over a dollar per click when my CTR is half a percent, (yes that is .5%) . Then I get 10 cents a click when my CTR is 5%.

Has Anyone else experienced the same thing?

Same here. I have wondered about that, too.
For example, a certain page may get one click for the day, at $2.00.
But that same page, on another day, may get 10 clicks, which will NEVER yield $20.

I guess this is Smartpricing at work. The more views you provide, the less you are paid, per view.

The advertiser pays the bills, so he/she gets all the breaks.
The publisher gets penalized, as their performance gets better. Counter-intuitive, for sure - but that seems to be the way it works.
Smartpricing is great for advertisers, but sucks for publishers - they are taken for granted.
