No, I automated the process through a script I've developed. I point my systems to the URL, and they simply visit it.
What is the purpose? Hit just for the sake of hits with no one behind them reading what you have or looking at your site is meaningless. What am I missing?
No, I'm not traffic expert, nor do I have unlimited resources for pulling in heavy traffic. I simply have control over about 60 computers, who all consist of different IP's (unique hits) and are able to visit any section of your website. The reason I'm doing this, is because I figured some of you might need it, and it's aways nice to help people out, jeez.
Unique hits is what you're earning here. I'm sorry I don't control people and force them into *actually* looking at your content, but they are viewed and that's what matters.
I've got plenty of people who have PM'd me and I've done it and they were satisfied. What's suspicious about it? Like I said before, imagine you have 60 computers and you sit on each one, one-by-one and simply open up a browser, and then go to the website of your choice. This of course, has been automated
Absolutely nothing. I don't expect anything in return. I've just found this helps me in many ways, and I thought I should share it with you guys.
@Yousif Everyone wants more traffic to their websites. A number of people pay for it. You are trying to "help people out" by doing this for free. However, your traffic is not exactly what the webmasters are wanting. Firstly, your traffic is from bots/robots/scripts/whatever-people-wish-to-call-it. It is not normal human traffic in the sense that the visitor will buy an item, or return to the website to check for more content. Having said this, the only point of the traffic would be to possibly boost advert impressions in the hopes of generating more revenue. This is of course FRAUD since ad systems pay publishers for humans to view the adverts. This is what billy786 was trying to point out when he said that Google (AdSense) would find this traffic suspicious. I don't believe I need to explain the matter any further. Yousif, we appreciate you trying to be helpful... but I cannot think of any legitimate reason for the use of automated/bot traffic. Regards,
If you don't want my help, you may leave. Your comment was a waste of time. To be honest, I think my PM box is about to explode because of the many people I'm assisting. You are wrong by the way, they CAN return to the website. I have a scheduling system set up where they can go back to that same website or section, and happily return another unique. You said Google pays human to view, right? This is the same concept. These are *actual* computers visiting the website. I'm sorry I'm not able to have a human sit at each one to satisfy you? Google would find this suspicious only because you get the traffic at a rapid pace. That's not an issue, as I can call out 5 uniques every 5 minutes, which would be normal.
