Do you need to be a paypal verified to buy items on eBay?

    I want to buy an item on eBay and before i go, just wanna know the answer of this question. Thanks in advance for whoever who will tell me the answer

    No...You can use unverified paypal to buy items on eBay...But I think the buyer probably prefer you to verify your account.

    It's all down to the sellers requests for payments. I should say verified paypal only if the seller requires this. :)

    Many sellers only ship to a confirmed address.

    I don't recall if it is possible to comfirm an address without being verified or not.

    This has now changed on ebay. You need to see if you are 'eligible' for seller protection and the buyer does not necessarily need to be verified any more.

    As for the OP, if you can verify it will help you, especially if buying expensive or high risk items.

    This all depends on the seller. If they request for a verified paypal, then that's what they need. They are obligated to reject anything they do not request. It is probably best if you verify it so that you do not have to worry about it.

    It's better if your verified. With so many fraud scams out there right now, being verified might make people trust you more, especially if your a new seller on ebay.
