Do you need a site first to join

    Do you have to have a website before joining an affiliate program (Azoogle, Maxbounty, CJ , etc...) or will they allow you to join then build sites around the offers you want to participate in?

    Depends. Some do, some don't. Check their individual TOS.

    most you don't need one but you need to state how you plan to promote the offers if via PPC or email etc...

    I guess most do to check what kind of products you are already affiliated with before and a few other reasons. You could try clickbank you don't need to have a website there I guess, I could be wrong.

    if you're doing PPC you should be fine. CJ and Azoogle ask to see some sites but if you explain your sitution you might be ok.

    Thanks for the information. Yeah, I plan to drive traffic to the sites via PPC so I have not built the site(s) yet. I want to look over the offers available then build sites targeted to those offers. Pretty much like most people here I assume.
