Do you monetise your RSS feed?

This is a question for those of you with real blogs, do you make any money from the RSS feed? Do feed readers ever click on ads? Is putting AdSense into the feed worthwhile, or is there something better?

 

i average 4-5 clicks a day on my feeds adsense

compared to 100+ clicks a day on my blog

 

I am not yet monetizing my feed. I surely will do it in future.

 

No I dont. I target on my homepage alone than RSS

 

Id do it. I just started using feed burner though. Can you monetize feedburner feeds? also what adsense plugin do you use?

 

yes you can monitise it through your adsense account

 

I do, but try to keep it to a minimum. I feel that monetizing your email newsletters are a lot more effective than RSS, so that's the way for maximizing when it comes to subscribers.

 

I am still waiting for my adsense account to get approved. I am learning fast with the help of you guys and thanks for the tips.

I wish to add adsense to my blogs. But every time i applied, i was either rejected or i waited too long with no response. I am hopeless about getting an adsense account approved..

I've never gotten a click through an RSS feed in my life. It's a worse placement than on-site ads.

 

yup, you can do it if you have hundred of readers, you can use adsense or bidvertiser. But normally it will get 1-10% CTR from your readers. So if you have loyal readers then why not try to monetize it

 

Dont be greedy guys, if you put adsense code in anywhere of your blog, it will look that you make a blog just for make your own profit. if you have put the adsense code in your blog than i suggest dont put it in your feeds.
