    At first I did not like the new version, but you not what it's because it's change which most people hate at first. I am now actually really liking it. Well done to DP crew

    I don't really have many issues with the colors or layout... My problem stems from two things.

    Problem 1) the ABSURDLY UNDERSIZED FIXED METRIC FONTS. Declaring fonts in PX is a miserable accessibility /FAIL/ - see the WCAG recommendation on that. I'm a Large fonts/120dpi user browsing in Opera... As such I expect ALL the fonts to enlarge 25% automatically without diving for the zoom, which always causes layout headaches. 12px is the bottom end of accessibility... when content is set to 11px and smaller someone needs to be beat with a wet trout.

    For now to get around the problem, I'm running an Opera user CSS file to 'fix' it. Makes for some wierd padding on a few elements but at least it overrides all the damned fonts to a usable size.

    /* do not use condensed properties, it will override font-weight and font-style! */
    * {
    	font-size:100% !important;
    	line-height:130% !important;
    }

    body {
    	font-size:85% !important;
    	line-height:130% !important;
    	font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif !important;
    }
    Code (markup):
    Problem 2) The sheer volume of elements broken cross browser combined with the general 50% increase in total page size. It's not bad enough vBull has the unmitigated gall to waste 220k on JavaScript in the first damned place, but when a forum index comes out at 191k of markup to deliver 17.5k of actual text content, someone needs to stop writing HTML, back away from the keyboard, and take something less detail oriented like macramé weaving.

    Mein gott, 191k of HTML for THIS: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/

    WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT?!?!? Gets even scarier when you realize they are ABUSING an ordered list and using endless nested div's and inlined images for obviously tabular data and presentational elements - much less the completely nonsensical heading orders.

    Seriously, whoever wrote this DISASTER:

    	<ol id="forums" class="floatcontainer">

    Code (markup):
    Which drops it to 3k instead of 5.2k. Tables are not 'evil', they're for tabular data - aka data that is organized in rows and columsn where everything in a column shares a heading and is related, and everything in a row is related - hey, that sounds like a forum index.

    Yeah, that switch to abusing an ordered list and hordes of DIV's was SO efficient. Of course, I'd probably nueter it down further by stripping all the fancy pointless javascripted crap - loading a new page to view the users info and make choices about the user wouldn't be so painful if they weren't WASTING 160k of markup on 18k of content - that could be stripped to 8k of content without the bloated crap (like that STUPID 8K of markup for the useless dropdown bull on the menu) meaning there's likely little reason for the page to take more than 24k of markup if you stripped out all the 'gee ain't it neat' bullshit.

    I think this is much more organized than the old one. It's just a matter of familiarity. We are just getting common to its theme, but the most important thing is the feature, contents etc that is well organized.

    I like the new look really.. I personally don't like vb4 but this one is more agreeable. But if you ask me which one I prefer old or new? I would go with the old one. I think the old vbulletin is much better performance wise.
