Do you mind using coupons during directory special offers and discounts?

    I would like to point out just one other perspective - Not sure if this would happen or not

    A coupon offer could cause a submitter to pause in submitting. If there is a coupon box available on the submissions page and they do not have the code it may cause them to pause and think they may look for a special offer code prior to submitting to save a few bucks.

    Another thing is that if you frequently offer specials you may train your clients into only submitting when you have a special going.

    Either way it could reduce submissions and revenue for promoting and improving the directory.

    Best bet may be to just offer fair review prices and be consistant.

    Just food for thought.

    Increase your prices and offer coupon codes ;)

    People will be happier :D
    Bombard forums and blogs with the coupon codes you have to offer and then get more submissions :)

    A good point and sometimes rather than lower pricesit could be you offer some value adding i.e an extra bonus in lue of a discount.
