Do you manually find high PR links?

I've used a programme in the past which helped find relevant blogs/sites to leave my link on but this no longer works. I always manually add my link.

I am looking for something which will speed up my search and hopefully help me find high PR pages. There are a lot of programmes claiming to work and cost quite a lot, but I don't want to pay for something which ends up not doing its job well.

Do you use a programme for finding places to add your link? Please share your good and bad experiences.

You can do it manually using SEO Quake or SEO for Firefox, also there are a lot of Google query which you can find high PR sites.

Better to do it manually instead of using software.

yes, I do it manually, I don't like automated systems for make back links.

 

I also believe in manual link finding process, though it is bit tough and needs efforts, yet sounds good.
