Everyone lately has been complaining about crappy Adsense clicks. Well, Adsense isn't the world. So here's my question: What earns you the most money with your sites?
I have many options. But must admit I was the one that chose affiliate programs. I earn a good little bit from these from price comparison sites to web hosting sites. Saying that I only have 4 sites now. lol
TLA - Text Link Ads, its a company that makes it easier to find advertisers for your site that will buy direct links.
What ever you do, only join TLA's if you want to earn some dosh from your site or your blog. lol TLA's is a good program and is a way for you to earn from selling advertising space (or as people call it, sell links).
I earn the most of my money from freelance writing. But, for my sites, adsense is first, but that's only because it spans my entire network while TLA is only on one site.
Adsense isn't the world, but it looks it's our world: Adsense - 69.23% votes Alot of us who are not in the US don't have the same opportunity to use other ad programs, or don't get good payments with them. In example, I recieve $0.10 CPM(banner ads) for my latin american traffic(wich is almost 90% of my traffic), whereas US traffic will get up to $1.00 CPM. Also I can't register to YPN yet, for the same reason that I'm not US based and alot of programs will not accept my traffic beacuse it's not from US.
Adsense is just another revenue source. Never really just on one revenue source. Affiliate programs are a great revenue source and putting adsense together will increase you whole earnings. Don't over due it with ads and you will earn a nice little income.
till now only adsense another contextual ads program like "http://www.auctionads.com/refer_88018c07647fc96bfec4" and "http://www.text-link-ads.com/ not working for me.. in text link ads i'm not qualified..
Adsense is still my top earner.. followed-up VERY close by Kontera. Affilliate sales next after that, then YPn ..
I think for most people adsense will be the top earner because it converts better than other programs.
adsense is my top earner, I haven't gotten any affiliate sales at all, but I've been thinking of trying in text advertising. I've heard that kontera is good.
Out of all them mentioned only Adsense is a contextual ads program. AuctionAds or TLA's is not contextualy targetted. AuctionAds can be targetted to your content in a way, but that's only because you input the keywords yourself which really means that it doesn't using contextual targetting of your pages content. Am I right or wrong? Does anybody know this with AuctionAds?
You are correct. But with AuctionAds, you can try to find an application or extension for your platform and have it automatically generate keywords based on the content so it becomes contextual -- without anyone knowing.
