Do you make more money on large 100 page sites, or on blogs?

why are you making a difference between "large sites", "small sites" and "blogs" at all?? blogs with many articles are large sites. Just because the structure tells you it is a blog it is not that different. blogs are just websites.

 

I guess your right about some blogs being large sites. But I think of it different from other sites because you don't normally go back and edit all your other articles right? I mean you just update by posting a new article and thats it? Where as on a large site there are lots and lots of pages to maintain and update.

I'm not saying a large site is any better then a blog with lots of articles, I just assume its easier to update and maintain a blog than a larger site.

 

Once your site is built, and you aren't messing with it as much, make a related blog and automate a post a day or something. Of course, your blog would promote your site, so if anybody was captured by the blog you could immediately harvest them to your site and hopefully keep them.

 

Not a bad idea. I just need to think of something I could write about daily that could incorporate quotes/stories/songs/jokes.

 

the most important thing is traffic you have a traffic you earn more with a large website more than small site

 

I've just been adding targeted entries to my blog that I bury in my categories. The idea is that I can use my personal blog, just with additional targeted content that my regulars never actually see, but will show a high serp. (Not that I make any money yet since gbot shows me such infrequent lovin.)
