Hey. I've recently discovered Fiverr.com (things for $5) and as I'm trying to get in the designing business I've decided to try fiverr. Got some orders already, and I was wondering if anyone here makes some good money on that website ? Also, do you know how much should I pay for a Featured entry and how to make them featured ?
I haven't had a whole lot of luck with it. I know some people have made a couple hundred. I think the key is to provide something that requires less work of you. Say, you were offering specific tips and such... If you put that in a video, you could deliver the product in hours and make more sales. With that being said, I'm not sure what exactly you are offering. perhaps it's a service you do manually. If this the case, that's obviously not possible. Just my 2 cents.
Yes, i kind of sold 3 services there. But you won't get paid 5 but around 3.90 something. Because they take their charges which is $1 and then paypal takes their charges when you get the payment. So yeah its kind of low in the end. I sold 3 reviews on my website through fiverr. Also you will need to wait for 12 days before you could withdraw the earned amount.
I make on Fiverr. Not millions but it pays for my hosting, telephone/internet, domain renewals bills as well as having a bit more to go into the pot at the end. All for doing basically **** all work I have not had so much luck on all of the clones out there. I just don't think they get the same level of traffic. If anyone can make a list of clones it may be useful as it would take just a few seconds to copy/paste gigs to the others.
I've posted 'Suggests' on the other Fiverr like sites and just don't receive the timely response from members on those sites compared to Fiverr after the Suggest is publish. Some gigs are saturated, you really have to stand out to have the buyers beating down your door paying for your gigs. Previous feedback reviews is another important advantage also to making money on Fiverr.
I don't sell there but have bought a few jobs and the people I have worked with seemed to be making money. Not huge amounts of course, but enough for them to want to continue. One who did a fiverr job for me has now gone into freelance business on his own and I still use him (and pay more). So fiverr was just a stepping stone for him.
I make about $150-$200 a week on fivver. Not a lot but enough to cover a few bills and I'm the sort of person who'd rather be making something than just sitting around doing nothing. The trick is to drive outside traffic to your gigs, don't just count on internal visitors. I mostly use some sig links on related forums, hubpages, youtube, facebook and article sites. As a rule I don't do anything that takes me more than 5 minutes. So things like ebook cover design, simple landing pages, basic graphic design, twitter blasts, article re-writing etc
Sorry, i have never tried but i have heard about the services provided by them and they have lots of visitors.
I was about to study up on Fiverr but am so darn busy writing and drawing I haven't had the time. I'm glad you started this thread though as I can get a look at what others have to say.
i'd be interested in creating a group of people that buy each others gigs to get reviewed and on hp a
