I'm contemplating starting an SEO / internet marketing blog. If anyone's out there, could you advise me - do you make money from your SEO tips blog / website? Adsense click through rates - are they pretty low? Webmasters don't click on Google ads very much (at least that's my understanding). True? What's the average payment per click you get from such an SEO based site? I'm used to an average 0.20c per click on my travel related sites - might my new (planned) one be similar? Gimme some stats guys.
Don't be an idiot and start an MMO blog like the countless others. People in the IM industry feed a lot of people crap -- like telling them to write only what they're passionate about. This is a bunch of BS and one of the sole reasons why many cant make money online. The CTR on these types of sites is horrendous and not worth the effort. The CPC, however, can be in $1 range, but you will get very few clicks. Do some research and get into a niche thats unsaturated. Buy a pre-owned domain, get some content up, and go build some links. If you do what I just mentioned correctly, it is almost impossible for you not to make money.
adsense will pay pretty good compared to lot of other niche on an SEO site. however, marketing a site like that is very challenging as there are ton of SEO sites out there. if you can do a site with unique content and drive targeted visitors, you can do pretty well
Ugh. If you want to make money with Adsense, target an audience that isn't deadened to internet ads. I make a good living running advertising on home and garden related sites.
Not much , I have seo blog and it gives me $1.10 in 10 days. You really needs to work hard to earn with adsense with any niche
