Do you know if it is possible for a webmaster to hire someone in Syria or overseas. If I could do that I'm sure I could get better deals on labor.

Not yet I don't, as I haven't really properly joined the work force yet. I want to though, within the next few years I want to earn enough from the internet to live off of :)

First step.. Is the hang out in the forum alot. Learn everything you can learn and then take action. Start buying domains, learn about PR, learn abut SERPS.
Learn how to choose keywords, and how to raise your site in google.
Sooner or later you will get there, and by posting you can sell your signature on DP. When you post, don't post spam and crap. Post in places where you can learn something, and ask questions. Many webmasters here answer anything asked on DP. Most importantly never give up! :)

It Sure isn't as easy as it seems! But with the marketing strategy I've learned on DP I don't have an empty site anymore. There is always someone browsing my classifieds site. Check out my stats bar.

    Thanks everyone! :D

Webmastering is a broad term. I make a living from online activities, but not necessarily webmastering. I have more money coming in from alternative methods than I do static websites.

The way I figure it is, if I keep doing things that interest me online and keep slowly builing links and traffic the money will take care of itself. Currently I make next to nothing and I dont care. I work 70-75 hrs a week at my jobs and have a wife, kid and mortgage. This is my escape from reality I guess.

This is exactly how I feel about it mate. Keep having fun, learning, experimenting and working, and you'll get there. I am 100% confident I will, although just 2 months ago I was thinking whats the point? Oh, and take a break if you need a break, it does wonders!:p
