Do you mainly hand reg or buy in the aftermarket?

I though it would be interesting to know if people here mainly look to hand reg brand new names or buy in the aftermarket.

Out of your portfolio, post a rough % as to how many names are hand reg & how many are bought in the aftermarket.

    For me, I would say:

    Around 95% hand reg
    Around 5% from the aftermarket

Great reminding question on what we do.
We do both hand registration is 50%
    The drop clubs is 50%
This is because we have been buyong domian names for over 11 years. So we hand registered names a long time ago. If you like to see what we own even thoiugh there are none for sale we do have a nicely organized web site devoted to our company's future building projects like California Weather Authority a project.
    Domain Name Portfolio
We are proud of our list though they are all .com's they are all not the greatest but we love each of them like they were our children.

I'm about 50/50 hand reg versus aftermarket. I got on a mailing list that seems to have a pretty good stream of names for sale daily that I keep buying off of.

    (Hand reg sounds so dirty).

Used to only hang reg, but lately I have been buying in the aftermarket a lot.

    60% Hand
    40% Aftermarket

But I am actually looking into hang regging about 5 or so .nets in the near future.
