All the above things arent as concrete or defined by country in the "new world" ie USA. As I am both American and Canadian, Scottish and German. My family has only been speaking primarily english for about 100 years. Its not american to speak Gaelic or German primarily. Its not american to play the bagpipes or wear a kilt. Hell its not even american to have a family crest. So what Im saying is to alot of people culture isnt directly related to country, in fact alot of peoples culture contradicts the popular beliefs of their country.
