I'm an NRI (Non-resident Indian) and listening to song like this one calls tears on my face sometimes - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AP30br94ro&feature=PlayList&p=E8D0222C9325D83D&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=50 and national anthem - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9zKg-Nkauk&feature=related school chale hum (let's go to school) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpc-jGZkbAk India is the country where wise men originate. Land of morality, wise and true happiness. Land where people respect nature, land where the big are not arrogant against nature.Land where most people are vegetarian and finding non-veg food is sometimes hard (maybe not in 2009), but in my country, finding veg food is almost impossible (so I eat non-veg). Land where there will always be group of people who sit and meditate everyday knowing the world is just an illusion, and those who can't live like that respect it and knows wise and morality is not just another path but the most important thing in life. And yes, the indian classical vocal music, I use to learn and sing. These music reach the soul and uplift the human soul. So, yes, I love india, not just india, I love the whole earth, I love the whole universe, I love every matter god created. I'm from Canada and I don't know much about India. So I guess I don't like it. I'm neutral about it. Most from US or Canada have not been that far so they problably don't love it as well, although most people in DP will love it because its where they are from. I'm sure its a nice place.
I want to know why Indians love so much India. lol I don't see the similar attitude in other countries. I guess most people from Western culture wouldn't love so much India because of completely different cultures though I'm sure its a nice place. I would like to have a chance to visit there a day in the future.
I've never been to India, but I'm dying to visit the country, hopefully next year. India looks like a charming place to travel.

Well, Gandhi is practically my favorite idol. I haven't been to India yet, however, but I'd love to go there someday.
