    I have two weird looking, flat-faced felines (1 Himalayan, 1 Persian). I've raised them for nearly 10 years and am quite fond of them. It was difficult not to become at least moderately attached to anything that has been around for that long.

    I love my cats- even though the older is a bit of a schitz and probably hyperthyroid. Some people just don't understand their affections :)

    Cats can be Man's best friend too! I remembered when I was hospitalized for a few days, my cat still waited every morning outside my bedroom for me to come out (every morning she would wait for me to wake up). According to my mom, she waited hours before she left.
