Do you look at "Google PageRank Prediction" before buying a backlink ?

    and always avoid to buy links that are predicted to have minor PR :eek:
    what do you think ?

    No, You are much better off just giving a little thought to the link. Some of the things I check.

    Will the link be placed in a spot where it is obviouly a trade or buy? If so the link is worth less than a link place in with the content of the site.

    Is the link related to the page you will be puting your link on. If not, once again the value decreases.

    What other sites are linked from here. Unrelated, spammy sites? Or related trusted sites. This is expecially true with directories, make sure the other links on the page relate to your site, if not it looks more like a link farm then a directory.

    Is the link likely to send you real traffic, If so, I'll take that over a high PR site that will not give me traffic.

    There are a lot of other things besides PR that make a good link.
