I live with my parents Reasons: 1) Because i m undergrade and my college is in my town 2) i dont earn enough so that i can go and live alone 3) i luv my parents alot 4) security.. you never feel alone and tensed 5) i luv joint family 6) they pay for my food and light bill as well so no expense on dat hehe.. i'll list few more later
Im not living with my parents...2 yrs ago when i left because i want to be independent and do things on my own and i wanna show them i can do it. I thought being the youngest daughter they will not permit me..but they did! I actually live with my sister but i pay my own expenses and give my share on the bills. I also live with my gf and hopefully be with her permanently soon. (3 days w/ my sis and 4 day with my gf)- every week.
I haven't lived with my parents for almost 6 years now. It's not likethere is anything wrong woth them I just had to get out of slow paced Nova Scotia for fast moving Ontario. I still get back to visit about once a year... so it is all good.
Thats more reason why I live home, plus living home lets me have enough money to do more stuff, like going on vacations, buying brand name cloths, going to clubs or bars at least twice a week, being able to go to restaurant almost everyday and ect. But if I would of live on my own, I probably would of not be able to do any of those stuff. I have friends who live a lone, and they can't afford to go to clubs or bars, or when they do, its once every few months.
I love your words Sarah Being in India, it is very uncommon leaving your parents home .... or should I say moving away from them! Children to move away for higher studies, and if they get a job in a foreign country that's a different story! But if they come back and get a home/marry, then after a few months the parents move in with them Regarding me, am 17, am still with mah parents and have no plan of leaving! Even though I've bought mah own home in a different city! But even if I move there, my parents will be with me Abhishek

I don't live with my parents because 1. there is no law that requires me to. 2. I am 30 years old 3. have wife and kids 4. one of my parents was killed by medical mafia 5. I don't get alone with the other one
Well I am a college (in Noida, near New Delhi) student so dont live with my parents anymore... I live in a hostel... Well i look back to the days with my parents and certainly love to be at home... Manish
