I live with my parents, I live with my parents because most of the place i want to live are too expenisve for me, its all over $1800 a month. And I don't want to live with a roommate either, if I want to live with a roommate I rather live with parents. I will most likely move out, once I'm done with school and I have a decient job.
I live around santa monica,CA For studio its much cheaper. for a one bedroom its around $1500 to $1900. For 1500, you will get something small and not very nice. I mean I can go and live in a bad neighborhood, i will probably find something for less than $1200 but its dangerious neighborhood, and I will be far from school and work. Plus I don't mind living with my parents.
Moved out on my 17th birthday, which was 18 years ago-my Mother was pretty upset about me leaving. My parents are divorced, so without me Mom just had my younger sister to keep her company. Over the years Mom has stayed with us a few times-my wife and I bought our home in 1997 and have plenty of room. One of these days Mom will be too old and infirm to take care of herself. When that happens I'm hoping that she'll come to live with us. When I was growing up my Mother worked her tail off-with two fulltime jobs to make ends meet. She won't ever set foot in a nursing home if I can help it.
i live with my parents, i hate it. I hate being a slave and when i want to be left alone, i hate being reminded that im dependant... as soon as the internet gets me a livable income/i graduate college im saying bye... and if they ever need me... id gladly care and support them, but just stop fricken bothering me always right now!
when i was 6 years old, i have to stay on my grandparents house because their house is much closer in my school. but when i turned 9, my parents decided to transfer house close to my grandparents so we could live together. till now (im 20 years old) im still living with my family but will be moving out soon because i'll be getting married
Live alone, sometime was with roommate, but now alone. since 14 or something. visit them once or twice a year, but call them often.
Same problem here, in romania. Just that the rents here are ~250 EURO (around 300 USD) a month for 1 room apartament I don't want to rent it, i rather to prefer to buy it, around 35 000 EURO ... I still must to work more however
i moved 18.000 km away for 1 year and had a good time. coming back home was the worst mistake i made last year...
I live with my kids My daughter has been planning to go flatting since she was about 6 My son is living with me forever The age and way you move out depends on your culture and what is socially normal where you live. So, if you are from a conservative culture but live in New York you may be able to expect your parents to be more liberal than they would be back home, but less liberal than the local population. Your strength comes from doing what's normal for kids in your area. If you are fitting in by moving out then exploit that. If they're all still tucked up at home and you're ready to move out then that's harder. Can you find an excuse like going to University in another city?
Moved out when I was 19. I now live 500 km away and visits them 3-4 times per year.. if I visit them to often or stay with them to long I just get annoyed.
I live with my girlfriend's parents, but we hope to be on our own VERY SOON. Why: to have our own piece finally...
