Do you like Wordpress 2.5 new admin interface? Which part you like or dislike?

Hi guys,

After release of WP 2.5 I was surprised to see the Big Changes in its admin interface. What do you guys think about it? I like it because it attractive , clean and easy to use. But the WP noobs may face problem at first to be familiar with it.

The only thing I just dislike is the new style of widget section. I mean when you want to add remove widgets, if there is multiple widgetized section in the theme, you have to use a dropdown to select each section. That is annoying.

 

I think is sucks. I don't like how the menu items are scattered...also the UI looks like a step-back compared to previous versions.

 

I don't particularly like it either. It's a really big change, and some of the differences I find to be more incovenient. But I do like that they've taken the use of media other than images finally. Haven't tried it to see how well it works, but it's a good move.

 

I like the new version. The one thing that drives me nuts is the Visual Editor it's too small and jumps around when adding pictures. Why can this not be bigger?

 

I really enjoy the new minimalistic look. The menus don't bother me at all, and just took a couple of minutes to get used to.

 

I hate it partially cause mine is still bugged and won't work.

I like several of the new features. The most that I like about is automatic update of plugins.

On the other hand, I also dislike certain features, that is the AJAX functionalities of the image / file uploading.

 

I'm not keen on the changes to the menus - don't see the reason for change and the new design isn't intuitive - except for that it's pretty good

Liked the old versions better.

 

Love the new version like crazy. Specially the one click plugin update is awesome... hate one small part which is this time around, when editing posts you cant "save" and automatically go back to the posts/pages menu. Other than that, all is awesome!

 

Anybody know how to turn off the "pending review" deal when you email a post? This is a pain in the butt.

 

I do like it. However, one of the things I don't like about WP 2.5 is the fact that you can't make your Blogroll Links nofollow. It could have been an nice add-on. I believe it's stupid to install a plugin just to make them nofollow. Oh well... *sigh*

 

I like the old one simply because I've been using it for such a long time. I usually hate change when it comes to GUI's, anyway....
