Sorry but I hate train travel. I was forced to take the train to Scotland by a 'friend'. It was terrible, I came back by plane. Sadly, plane travel has now got even worse now there all the security checks. I don't know how the British commuters do it. It was on the news today that train passengers have increased by 60% but the rolling stock capacity has only increased by 15%. I think that if cattle or sheep were forced to travel in such conditions the rail companies would be prosecuted by the Animal Welfare people. Give me a car any day.
this is the best way of journey and I love this. you can enjoy lots of natural views. And to know a culture of country just wander there in train..
It was an awesome experience when i travel from LONAVALA(India) to KARJAT(India) in train. Everyone should experience that awesome scene of train carving between the wonderful mountains and valleys.
