I like Tofu and I also eat meat, but I only like the firm Tofu not the other kind - very random post!
Well, I don't eat tofu as often. The restaurant where I buy Sushi usually includes a complimentary coup of tofu soup whenever you sit down to purchase something to eat.
I'm vegetarian, and I like tofu That kinda raises the question if whether tofu is veterinarian or not. All i know is that its a byproduct of soya milk, have not tasted it yet, but wish to taste it for once.
There is a question missing from the poll, Have you ever had tofu but don't like it? I could not vote because this wasnt there.
Giving it away is better than trying to sell it, it's bland taseless and even as a vegetarian I couldn't stand the stuff. Probably has some uses in some things but you need to disguise it just to make it palitable.
I was not aware of 'tofu' but my wife was well aware of it... and she did in fact suggest of using it...in place of paneer! So... I guess, I will get to eat it... in few days! Regards, RightMan
You are not wrong even the texture isn't great, especially if the chunks/cubes are large! Enought to put you off many a dish imho. Tofu is one of the reasons I abandoned being vegetarian and learnt to live with eating meat!
I normally don't like tofu, unless it comes filled with meat and seafood, fried to a crispy brown. The normal white and steam variety is something I stay away from. Healthy food wise, but I just can't swallow it.
