Do you like the new dp

Some say it's faster, others say it's slower. According to the vBulletin team, it should be faster than the older generation of this board script. What I'd do if I were to control the design of this forum, I'd move away from the default vB4 header, makes me have the feeling it's just too much green everywhere. Other than that, a nice improvement overall.

 

Nice nice. Old one was also nice.

 

the new design is quite good and i love the all of the section except sell and buy section there must be some work on it....

I like the design even though it is quite buggy still. It does add more of a "Spark" to DP though.

 

I liked the design. It has made navigation a bit easier.

 

I'm slowly starting to dislike it. I can't seem to find all the features i once used, and finding good threads to participate in seems more difficult because you have to really look around for the ones that haven't been responded to already. I don't know, it's okay I guess...

 

dont like it at all - it was fine as it was, now i cant find anything that i was able to go to instantly with one click - i really do not have time to spend hours trying to find what i want.

It wasnt broken so why screw with it????????????

The changes aren't due to any existing issues with the older version, vB 3.8 is a pretty stable and solid platform to build on, however vB4 introduces quite a few enhancements as far as functionality is concerned. There are bugs in the new design, particularly inside the user settings panel, where thread subscriptions don't display the name of the last poster, and the social groups table's formatting is broken but I'm sure they're working on it.

And yes, it took me a while to get used to the new design and functionality but it does feel amazing.

 

It's fantastic. So much sleeker and lots of cool new features. Anyone who doesn't like it can bugger off back to MySpace.

 

I do like the new DP. I just signed on today after a few months, and I was surprised by the new look. It looks cleaner and more organized. Very nice.

 

No, don't like the new look. Especially the colors and the way they highlight the headings- it is difficult to read. For eg. at top there is sections heading "Forum Business General Business" -it is small and has white background and green letters so cannot see immediately what section you are on.

yes.I like it the new DP..once I have surprised when I am log in..the logo of top header make me smile..the old one..worst logo ever..thanks a lot for such a great change!

 

I love the old template of DP . I wish we had an option to use both based on our choice. DP should give us the option to choose, Just like the way yahoo allows us to choose the beta version or that previous one. Correct me if I am wrong.

 

New dp look is more user friendly especially private message control system.

 

Yes, I love the new look and feel. But as they say, "Old is Gold"...
