    Hey my site page rank has come down,ealier it was 4 but now it has been dropped to 3,Can any plz tell me why it has happend?and secondly all the back links have also gone?why is it so?

    Actually I think it seems to be more title text dominance. That is what I am seeing with some of my big improvements in rankings with my sites.

    i get pretty much the same results as in "old" Google.. the difference is not that dramatic +/- pos

    The most dramatic improvement comes from Key Words in content, not in metas.

    For example, the search for "Non Cheesy Wedding DJ(s)"

    "Old" Google: my site is #38 on page 4 of SERP.

    Caffeine: my site is in the top 7 results, on page one of organic SERP.

    the words "non cheesy" are only in CONTENT, they aren't in the metas/title tags.

    IMO, it uses a far more advance algorithm to rank sites. The changes are differ site by site.

    I have not given much attention to caffeine yet. but my ranking are nearly same on caffeine and one know when caffeine can go live...

    Ranking is about the same. I suppose that for white hat SEO it won't make a big difference, but maybe some cheaters will drop out. Improving things a little bit for the rest of us.
