Do you like the google Caffeine update?

can anybody explain what is this update?

 

i saw significant drop in rankings, and i do not spam, do not know why.
i saw spammy sites rank well too.

 

Lol, I had one site go down and one site raise in rankings, I am starting to like this update. Or "Updation" as some said.

 

Neither i... will sure check it out..

 

For my niche the quality of 1st page results seem to be improving. My website appears to do much better with the new Google Caffeine search than with the old Google result.

 

I have checked my sites in the new Google and they rank a little low So this update isn't good for me.

 

hate it, my rankings have gone.

I notice some difference in ranking on my sites but no big changes for now...

 

A report says, caffeine is giving less importance to some sites like wikipedia and moving them down in the SERP...

there is not change for my website, there are all at their old positions

 

I have got a mixed response. Some of my keywords have improved while some have have dipped a bit. Lets see how it goes

i found the same same results for my niche keywords, but the placement of the results changed, for example the image search results are included, news and video results are shown in mixed propotion in top,middle and bottom of the SERP.

 

I haven't noticed significant changes in my SERP position for my major keywords.

The name "caffine" suggests that this update is less about improving search results and more about speeding up the search process, and Google PR to this subject suggest this as well. If this means that Google can index more of my pages faster than I'm all for it.

I haven't noticed any improvement in the quality of search results. They still seem pretty spammy to me.

 

I have found that some rankings are going up and some are going down. The total effect is almost null for my sites.

Agree. Till now the rankings are pretty much the same and those freaky spammy sites rae ranking higher. But the search speed improved a lot.
