In my personal viewpoint, betting of any sorts is unethical. So far my knowledge goes, it's prohibited in almost every religion. So, sports involving betting is no difference. It's immoral too.
Sometimes I just bet for fun with some friends, not for money (especially because mostly I often lost on betting )

Well betting should just be for fun. Rather than involving money in betting, offering some free prizes would be a good thought rather than milking the money...
Basically people need money, if done with the road without better bet, keep the good principle, although in a pinch ...
Sure I like betting in sports. And I would say more that they are relatives in some sense as well. But betting should be polite and spread among the fans, not politicians and millionaires.
