    If they don't tweet through Twitter then where do they tweet?

    And if you don't want to see their tweets then don't follow them...

    I follow Ashton who barely tweets these days anyway, and apart from my stream is 100% celebrity free

    Yeah I do follow a lot of celebrities. I do however only follow those how something interesting to tweet about, who interacts with their followers. Those who think they are controlled by their staff : well someone like Obama, yes. Most of them however do control their own twitter account, at least from my experience with interacting with them.

    Yes, there are some fake accounts. If you want to be sure that they are legit, just go for the verified accounts.

    Celebrities are the life blood of twitter. If there were no celebrities in twitter, who are you gonna follow? Me? Why? you want to know the color of my underwear?
    Of course not...If no celebrities, nobody would cares....
