Do you know why DP is better than SitePoint?

When was the last time you have received a mass email from DP? What about a newsletter? Every now and then i would get a flood of email from various webmaster forums im a member on. SP in particular always trying to sell me something. I really don't like it. This is why i try not to send any emails or newsletters to my members.

Sitepoint's admin is a moron that protects the scammers that live at the websites for sale forum

    That place is just junk

SP is all about making money. They don't really give a flying one about their members as long as they buy...

Mortgage brokers make six or seven figures, there are plenty of other sales positions making six figures so why do we in the web business expect everything to be free?

I am not impressed with SP as there is less freedom over there.

Is it so hard for you to opt out? You must have agreed to get such newsletters/email when you signed up.

In all honesty, look at DP's sites for sale and then look at the ones on sale at SP. Does anyone actually sell a serious site here on DP?

yes but what about daily trading of links/ domains/ small sites which are themselves not worth much more than 15-25$.. why should i spend a considerable amount of fees just to get listed

I really don't like DP. They charge you, and then they don't even let you post!

DP is better because you can actually navigate the forum. You dont need google maps to show you how to go to a specific forum.
