You can try this FREE tool that was recently featured on PCMagazine and ZDNet:

Find Duplicate Files Free- Fast Duplicate File Finder

Fast Duplicate File Finder will help you find fast all duplicate files in a folder and its sub folders.
The application will compare the content of your files so it will find duplicates even if they are using different file names.
It uses fast binary comparison algorithm and has internal preview supporting a lot of image, video, music and text file formats.

A nice article title for your blogs right? You can write a short article for your readers....they will love it!

    I would say temporary files.

I got an extra 4GB after I cleared my Temporary Files + Temporary Internet Files. :)

Lots of things can take up your HD space.

One virus I know of is the Oprah Winfrey Virus which shrinks your HD and then gradually expands it again. Check Google if you don't believe me :) Lol

I've tried this tool and must say you have to be very very careful of what you DELETE as not all listed are actually duplicates so use with caution :)
