Brand name PC's is the best decision for big corporations and government organizations. But custom build is always flexible than Branded PC and more suitable for private users.
Yep I know how to build my own PC and done it once. Still on that same machine I built myself and I love it
Building a PC is easy. Sometimes its just certain parts that goes in hard. Remember not to get mad when making it
We have total eight desktop now and now handling all of them is really time consuming hence we gave a annual maintenance contract to a company. So every month they come and clean cabinet and delete all unnecessary files. I can build a PC but never tried.
Its been 12 years since i have been in Computers I build my own Custom PC as it allows a lot of room for Flexibility and it suits your needs I remember the good old days when i bought my first Graphics Card "Nvidia Riva TNT 2" Then there was no stopping to it, i kept buying everything from processors, rams, modems, motherboards , mouse, keyboards, sound cards, and decent + expensive surround system My current Specs are Quad Core Processor Q Series Nvidia Gforce 9800GTX+ (512 Mb) 4Gb COrsair Ram Creative 7.1 Sound System X7 Mouse
Although I have built several PC's if youre not confident then plug for a Dell from their outlet store.
Would'nt dream of buying a brand names computer, build them myself everytime! I just wish i could build laptops, i'd do that too.
It would be good to build our own PC, so we can customize the parts, cost as the budget and fix ourselves if there is any hardware problem.
Everything looks good for what you are interested in doing. If you want some performance with longevity, look into some RAM that is faster than 533mhz. Other than that, a second disc drive will make burning and copying easier, as DVD_RW drives are not designed primarily to read discs and wear out easier if they read a lot. Also, building it yourself will save quite a but of money, especially on high performance parts.
