i know how to do it and already did one for my friend but never did it for myself personally as i leave PC altogether about a year ago for laptop. But yeah i'll definetely custom build my PC if i want one. It's cheaper and more personal, please you get an ice breaker for geek talk
i've only ever bought 1 branded pc which was the worst £600 i've ever spent so i always build my own now
I built my own and my wifes PC. My kids PC is an older Dell that we bought from her dad but I am working on them a new one now Only need two more parts.
PC customization is my hobby but then spending too much on those upgrades being update regularly every 6 months . Guess once i change to Mac the upgrades will getting lesser xD
I'm building my PC's ever since. It's very affordable buying by parts rather than a complete package.
i encourage everyone here to attempt to impress your system buiding knowledge on friends coworkers and children and maybe new friends. show them some of tje websites u learned from, teach them how you found them. who knows someome might learn something.
i built up my own PC because it cost cheaper, you got more thing and more upgraded than any branded one.
Just get an server board (ASUS) it can hold up to 128GB of RAM with multi CPU's. Possibly multi graphic's card shared...
Yep! I have learned how to build my own gaming PC with help of friends, websites, tutorials! I'm soon going to build my PC.
You should always build your own computer, I think anyone can do it. Even if you never have, you should do it as it gives you experience to do it in the future. There is plenty of help on the net when you venture out building your own computer.
Custom. Hands down. Custom pc retailers are now selling computers at the prices you can just buy the parts for. FTW!
I'm not sure if it's cheaper to build a PC vs. buying one these days, unless you're doing a high-end gaming PC or server. But, it is more fun, and you know exactly what's inside your box at the end of the day. Buying Windows licenses is a pain in the ass though. If copies of XP were $50 bucks, I'd probably have windows on more machines.
I prefer building my own PC, it's much better than brand ones that comes with a ton of useless integrated softwares.
