anyone know of a WP theme that is similar to the one at http://mattsmarketingblog.com ? I obviously don't want a blatant copy of the site, which can't be done since that one seems to be custom... just looking for something similar... any ideas?
1- the header going all the way across (not an issue) many do this but I definitely want that 2- the top navbar links are centered looking nice and is above the "opt in" section 3- the overall colors are beautiful. The main background has a pattern that I wouldn't necessarily be stuck on but everything else is great 4- the image with the opt in box at the top looks like one large image, but an internal page has ONLY the name+address field, pushing the post up to the top... I like that 5- the main page excerpts are not too short and not too long. Very simple with only option to click on post title and "Read More" 6- sidebar is good width. 7- sub headers in sidebar have kind of metal background... looks cool 8- thumbnail images on homepage have no border The main thing is I want something with nice clean code. i want something with a section at the top in that same spot (or very similar) to put an opt in with a possible "inncentive" like a free guide/report... like he has. I know a lot of those things I like are "small" mods, but I was really trying to find a theme that was similar that could then be modded into what I wanted. I would even consider hiring someone to do this and don't particularly care what is used as the "base" theme... just as long as it is clean coded. does that make sense?
I looked all through ThemeForest, ElegantThemes, DIYThemes, WooThemes.... I found a bunch of great themes, just nothing I was looking for... for this. I hired someone to make me a theme. Thanks guys!
