    Hi guys,

We are all looking for high PR links for sale all the time right? Especially .edu links.

Well, this site sell them like it was nothing, with very high pr and cheap prices(after you look at the total price, divided it for 1 year) like $12-20 per month per link.

    http://www.edutextlink.com/programs.html

    Are they for real !?!?

    Thanks.

They're probably just buying them from students pages and reselling them. I doubt they'll be much good for SEO though.

I can't tell if its a scam or not... But i see no worth on it. Yes, its a .edu links, but, for me, i rather have a .edu link on my own.

If you can afford it, then go ahead and try it out. I wouldn't bother with it though.

Why don't you contact them and ask them how exactly they would get you .edu backlinks ;) Please share with us if you ever get a reply from them :)

I have seen that site before and I actually think they are a bit fishy. They don't really say how they can get those links.

Let's hope that it's not a trap setup by google to catch those into buying links. :D....just a joking.
Anyway, I doubt it's real in any way. Get back to us on what they have to say.

    Thats what they answered me:

I want to use your services, but i have to be honest, it sounds to good to be true which makes it look a bit fishy.

How can you assure me that this is not a scam nor google will penalize my site for using your service?

    Thanks a lot.

I understand your concern. Google does not like paid links, so any link buying is a risky but necessary part of ranking in search - all of the top results sites do it. You just must do it carefully. We will guide you in the decision of how many pages/links are appropriate in your situation and will not show a spike in links. We sell a lot of pages to a lot of repeat clients, and a link campaign that is managed well should not be penalized. These pages are natural, in content links, as opposed to most paid links that are sitewide footer links that are obviously paid even to the googlebot. Because these are authority links, you do not need too many of them. 10-15 pages is a good safe place to start, and then more depending on your overall link profile and the competitive nature of your business.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Any thoughts?

The first question that I would ask is if these links are from students pages that have a ~ in the URL, i.e.

    university.ac~studentname

If so it's doubful they'll be passing any more authority than a regular link

DO NOT buy link until the page itself has some kind of authrity and PR.

Getting a link from a .edu site is not that difficult (search for wp blogs or guestbook on them and you can get it for free). the Home page of the site has PR7 means nothing.

Seems to be pretty expensive. When products start to be in the $500 plus range I like to look at other people's reviews - do a search in google for a review... Also, I can't see an advantage to anything other than dot com.
