dificult question here... Does anybody know any - other - worthwhile forums with the link-in-signature feature on? This in regards to forums close to this one in topics. As a complementary forum Shawn... not a replacement
According to my testing, Google has figured out how to filter out forum signature and forum message body links. Therefore, do not post in forums just to get links. It doesn't work.
Hi Will, of course it is not that simple. There are benefits coming from forum links. But there is a "magnetic field" the engine detects around keyterms and related topics in close vicinity. A thread about GSM security would help you but a thread about San Diego surfing is less likely to. make sense? Bottom line is this .. say what you have to say, no more - no less!
My daughters homepage went from a #3 (was there for many months) to a #4 over Christmas and the only thing she did different was add a few Forum links to it..... totally not related to her theme incidently......and I told her it wouldn't do any good . Cyclops.
I follow this rule: examine your intentions behind the action. If they are not right, you won't see long term results
