Do you just like movies with happy endings?

    I like movies with happy endings that make sense within the framework of the movie, same with sad endings. I don't like to be pandered to and I don't like movies that suddenly switch the rules halfway through. How about you?

    I usually like movies with happy endings but if a movie is based on true events and it ends sad then for me it's reality and is part of this life because not everything ends happily always. Sadness and happiness go hand in hand in this world and life.

    I would have to agree with digitalX in that some movies need to end sad and others happy - it all depends on the movie and in what mood the viewer is in. You also should take into account what the meaning of the movie is - what the director wanted you to take away from the movie.

    Actually everyone likes movies with happy ending.
    But there are some persons who hate happy ends and admire black humor with sad end as well.
    In such situation the best way is to make amovie with two ends for both categories of spectators.:)
