No I'm not really into the whole Myspace thing other than for money making purposes.

 

Well I'm not in the myspace thing eather. Neather I am in social networking, meeting online etc. But I believe that having a personal page would surely bring you some money.

e.g : a popular seller has a personal page, a person before buying from him consults his page to see details about him or so. Besides, people like reading personal pages, and I put links to my sites there

If you're not an artist or webdesigner with a good portfolio it's a waste

 

I've got a couple. One is a personal blog and the other is a resume/portfolio site.

 

It depends.. if you have a service, it is definitely beneficial..

A blog can show who you are and build trust, and make it easier for ppl to know you so they can communicate better with you

You can also use it to do things that help you make money..it might not be that straightforward

Well, I have a blog, but... it's just not really what one can call a personal website. You knwo what I mean... personal blogs / diaries are not exactly attractive. At least teh average ones.

I had one but it was just plain 1997 style black on white text.. so I deleted it and I can't design shit, so for now my personal site is almost empty

Nice site! I do not have a personal site... Maybe one day in the future i'll create one though.

 

Still thinking and planning to have one and maybe this will be something like portfolio.

 

I can't imagine why anyone would want to read it so I never put one up, lol. It would only appeal to those that know me and they know how to get in touch with me anyway.

 

I thought about having a Personal Web Page once, but I decided against it as I do not want to tell the world what I am doing and my activities!

I keep all my Web Money and Trades Secret, so I would not like someone I know, like a friend to search my name in Google and find out Everything!

 

I don't have my own personal domain but i use networking websites which allow me to stay in contact with friends and family, etc but of course mine is set up like a webpage. I think using networks such as myspace and bebo are more convenient and easy to use.

If you had a personal homepage, though- wouldn't you want to keep it personal and exclusive to family members and close friends? Or else it's not particularly personal? =S

And myspace isn't the only place where you can make a personal webpage Myspace is full of spam anyway
