Ok so I joined the digital spy forum http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/ Went though registration and completed my sign up, Now I have got a email saying, You have to pay £5 to activate your account, to cover the cost for a new scheme to stop spammers. Has anyone else had to pay to join, What will happen if i dont pay?
It says in the registration blurb that they only charge that fee to people who register with free email addresses.
What will happen if I dont pay? I didnt read the blurb jsut skipped past it all, Guess I should read the TOS more, Should I post up the email? I really dont want to pay!
I'm guessing that if you don't pay your registration won't be confirmed and it'll just get ditched from the system in a few day's time. You could always register again using a more official type email address.
Thats ok I dont care about my account being deleted! I just dont want to pay, So If I dont pay nothing happens apart from my account being deleted? I wont be forced to pay or anything?
How are they going to force you to pay? Send the heavies around to your place?! I really don't think you have anything to be worried about.
