Never really bothered with Yahoo much, i cannot find the free submit page to the Yahoo directory. Do you have to pay now?

It depends on your country also, in Australia for example it is free but will take ages for inclusion, in US $299 otherwise you probably won't get in

I submit through free submission. I also know that it will take longer time as well as no guarantee that it will submit my site. Paid submission is better for confirm listing.

$299 is only review fee that you will get reviewed in 7 days. it does not create any guarantee for an inclusion in Yahoo directory.

See below what yahoo directory says about that.

Yes! You are required to pay a price if you would like to submit your link to Yahoo's directory, ;)

Hmmm... I don't get as much traffic as I wished I would, but at least it's still a few visitors.

You wouldn't want to pay for traffic if you don't even get a single visitor a day, lol.

    $300 per year.

Only certain ones are allowed into the free section, schools, non-profits.

    Is it worth it? No.

Contradictory to what other people posted here. Yahoo directory does provide a high quality link to your website. A $299 is nothing compare to what you can gain if you have quality site. If your site is good enough you will get your investment back 100 times over.

I am thinking paid link are not good fore site. Purchasing a link is not fair game so i belief in in the free link.
