Do you have to fill out your meta description and meta keywords to get indexed?

I have a question about my blog and it involves recent posts I have made and I was wondering if I don't fill out the seo all in one title, description, and keywords. Could this be a reason why google is not indexing these posts right away?? Is this a huge factor when getting posts indexed right away? Thanks for the help.

This is not only the reason of google not indexing ur pages because if u will not put meta data on ur pages then google will use the content of ur pages. Meta data is important for better SERP's . If google is not indexing ur pages then try to get some quality linking for ur site and i will suggest "Just use some good meta tags to get better indexing"

    Thanks

Well one way to look at it is why have the plugin installed if you're not going to fill in those fields? I personally recommend using it and making the most of it.

I round off every post in my wordpress blogs with a meta description and some keywords using that plugin.
